Music composer Bharadwaj is happy about the way films are being made in Kollywood of late. “Some young filmmakers are showing enormous promise and their movies are setting new trend,” he says.
The 75-film old music director, whose songs in Ajith starrer ‘Aasal’ went on to top charts early last year, says movies like ‘Kalavani’ and ‘Mynaa’ impressed him a lot. “Both are top class films,” he says.
Eager to work with aspiring young directors, Bharadwaj says, “I strongly believe that the young wave which is currently ruling Tamil cinema will certainly change things here. I am ready for the race.”
Meanwhile, he has floated Bharadwaj School of Music, through which music classes would be taught to students. “Courses are designed keeping in mind the taste of youngsters and the needs of the industry,” he says.
